HUMANITARIAN CRISIS EXPLODES IN CATHOLIC LEBANON
In recent weeks, tens of thousands of Catholics have been driven from their homes in southern Lebanon, while recently “Operation Eternal Darkness” has been launched by the Israeli armed forces against residential areas in Beirut, with hundreds blown to pieces and thousands injured.
The Catholic Bishops of Lebanon have declared a humanitarian crisis in response and have appealed to Catholics all over the world for help. We are doing our part by immediately notifying all our contacts, such as yourself.
As you may know, presently there is a vicious armed conflict in southern Lebanon between the armed forces of Israel and Hezbollah, the Iranian proxy listed as a terrorist organization by most western nations. Hezbollah is a militant group of Shite Muslims which has infiltrated and effectively taken control of the southern 7 percent of Lebanon.
In their quest to combat this organization, Israel’s armed forces have invaded the sovereign state of Lebanon with infantry and mechanized forces, while their air-force daily bombs the countryside and cities, making no discrimination between civilians and militants, Muslims or Christians. In response, Hezbollah is infiltrating Christian neighborhoods to use Catholic and Orthodox Christians as human shields. In this, they are pursued by all means by Israeli airplanes, ground troops, drones and missiles, causing thousands of causalities of innocents.
What the Main Stream Media is not telling you is that the majority of these Christians are Catholics of the Maronite and Melkite rites. There are also Armenian, Syriac, Chaldean Catholics among them in these neighborhoods, along with Greek Orthodox and Assyrian Orthodox.
These families have no where to go but to live in tents or beg at the doors of monasteries or parishes. Tens of thousands are already displaced and living in the environs of Beirut, which is now being bombed daily.
On top of all these horrors, drones are being flown into Christian neighborhoods with loudspeakers which mick the sounds of humans asking for help, so that they can be lured into the streets and killed.
The Israeli Defense Ministry has further declared that no one will be allowed to return home in those zones where the IDF has ordered the evacuation of the human population, as Israel intends to permanently occupy and annex southern Lebanon. Resistance will be treated as in Gaza, with entire towns already being blow up with high explosives.
