The Saints of the Crusades 2026/27 Calendar
is our 10th Anniversary Official Commemorative, featuring the 15 Patron Saints of our Order and the 3 Patron Saints of the Crusades. It features the Months of the Year from August, 2026, to August 2027 inclusive, and thus is OPTIMAL for the school year and for use by homeschoolers.
Each Month features a Canonized Saint or Blessed of the Catholic Church who personally participated in the Crusades or in their preparation: Counts, Lords, Knights, Squires, Soldiers, Bishops, Friars, Religious, Laymen Married and Celibate: Martyrs and Husbands, Founders of Monasteries and Religious Orders, including chaplains and spiritual directors of their fellow Crusaders.
There are Saints who took up the Cross, and who fought or assisted, who were imprisoned and who escaped, who were asked to convert to Islam and refused, being beheaded or crucified. There are Saint who worked miracles, cared for the poor, founded Monasteries and Religious Orders.
There are Saints from Scotland, England, France, Switzerland, Italy, the Holy Land, Greece and the Ukraine, all showing the marvelous unity in the Catholic Faith and in heroic virtue which is the hallmark of true manliness.
Along with each Saint is a Quote from Sacred Scripture, or from the personal writing or statements of the Saint, or from the Rule of Saint Benedict, or the Divine Liturgy.
Our Saints of the Crusades Calender therefore provides a UNIQUE and SACRED inspiration through the year for Catholics of all ages and vocations.
